Fall Colors

~ An Ontario Fishing Vacation in Fall ~

Camp Kuha Wilderness Resort is located in central Algoma at the edge of the Great Lakes Forest, bordering on the boreal forest.  The mix of reds, oranges and reds of the maples and aspen combined with the deep green coniferous trees makes for spectacular fall colors viewing at the resort and throughout the areas roads and hiking trails.

Fishing and boating on Tunnel Lake becomes almost surreal at the height of the color season which begins mid-September and goes through October.

We are on the Mississagi River system and driving Highway 129 (shown below) is unforgettable.  This view is a short distance from Camp Kuha.   Even after the peak of the color season, the scenery is breathtaking, as this late October photo shows.
